Not really. When I got it, it had been repaired. When I refinished the top, I also reglued all the legs, since they were "wanky". I suspect that the new glue more or less failed when our stuff spent 19 or so days in unconditioned storage during last summer's hottest days. The glue noticeably failed within a few days of arriving in C'ville. I probably should have rebuilt the legs then. But I didn't. So when this failure occurred, it more or less shattered the veneer that characterizes this style of furniture. So not much helping. Our new legs are not as pretty as the old ones, but we could have several different sets that we change as the mood strikes us.

[Notice Jo's use of the word "severed"? That's topical.]

In the potty! My goodness! That is very exciting indeed. And bummer about the table.

I wonder about the wanting to sleep in her bed thing - I'm hoping there comes an age, not too far off, where a toddler likes things to be all hers, so maybe Kali will prefer her sheets and pillows and stuff to mine.

we are way too excited about the potty thing over here. she did it again this afternoon!

i, too, like the idea that one day she'll want her own things... so far it's pretty much an isolated incident... ;)

sleeping through the night... mod_gurl March 27 2007, 14:28:58 UTC
5 hours in a row of sleep during night time hours is considered sleeping through the night, crazed i know but a medical definition :) Zara previously only slept in sub 4 hour blocks, sometimes only 2 or 3, and occasionally waking up every hour...

Don't worry, though, she's a really bad sleeper, so should you have kids one day your life won't necessarily suck as much as mine ;)
