Professor: Does anyone know why Christians observe the Sabbath on Sunday instead of Saturday?

Bearded guy on the other side of the class: Cause its at the end of the weekend!

a good book to read on Hebrews is one by andrew murray "the holiest of all".

Well, there was a girl in my Spanish class who was quite upset with the prospect of having to eat Mexican food nonstop for 2 months during the summer program to Salamanca, Spain. Did anyone besides myself laugh at her? No. They all just nodded their heads apologetically.

i hear ya, bro. but don't give up hope. there's a girl in my victorian lit class whose mouth is hardwired to her usually innane internal monologue and she managed to say something astute yesterday. something of value will eventually be said, it's the law of averages.
