well, hands down, my trip to portland was nothing less than amazing. i read blue like jazz (which i highly recommend to everyone) on the way there, not knowing the author is from portland and talked much about the happenings there. it was amazing. we ate at fabulous organic grocery stores. the people are so, so friendly. moreso than here.

mannn, i didnt know Lauren lived in Portland now. i want to live there pretty badly... they have an awesome public transportation system and other rules for the city that make it really energy efficient and have lower levels of smog or pollution than most cities. LUCKY

YEAHH we rode the max a lot. you never have to drive and waste gas! it ruled.

awesomeness... i'm planning on moving back there when i get done with school.. theres actually a livejournal group i found called 'al2pdx' where some other people from alabama had the same idea...
