there was a boy in the class named kris who went beat red when i did the "what's a question you wish people would stop asking you?" exercise and gave them examples like "how much do you weigh? what country are you from? are you a boy or a girl?" he also made frightful eye contact with me when i went over a line "the same world that taught you boys don't cry taught me that nice girls don't love themselves."
hopefully his parents weren't one of the complainants.
