has anyone else heard of the Royal City Music Project? i can't figure out how to get anywhere from their homepage, so i don't really know where they came from. i came across their site while doing the mandatory periodical ego boost exercise of googling my own name, and found a page listing all of my scheduled gigs in the last year.

ha. With a name like mine googling would be a headache, not an ego boost. On the bright side, my place-filling anonymous name has instilled a healthy dose of pre-anti-post-pro-ultra-modernism into me. As such I recognize my name is a blank that cannot contain any real referential to my existence.

I have a friend, 666, whose proper family name is "Adolf". He didn't know about putting his name in quotation marks to exclude extranious references, so whenever he performed the ego-building google ritual he had to slosh through tons of references to Hitler. Very amusing. Luckily my web savvy quotation know-how saved him from appearing to research neo-nazis.

Anyhow, as to your question, I have no idea what the royal city whoozah project is about. However, I appreciate the chance to recall an amusing tale.
