I don't mean to offend but I also don't care if you disagree. Why is it that if any country invades another the US steps up before an eye is batted, guns drawn but when the US is literally being INVADED by Mexico they sit back & watch the madness!??? 11 MILLION ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS have literally snuck into the US because of our Governments lack of ( Read more... )

not to be a bitch or anything, but if you want to get technical about this, it was actually the United States themselves who invaded Mexico, which is where California used to be be a part of. So its actually quite ironic that people are being forced to sneak back into the country their ancestors were born in.

Essentialy. They were there first.

Whoa...going back. LoL. True. But it's not just California. The issues lies in almost every state. ESPECIALLY here in Texas Tejas. Mexico didn't once consist of all 50 states. So yeah, very clever and point taken, but it's irrelevant to the above argument, which I'm sure you realize.

And anyway it is relevant. And so is the fact that there is no harm in a person trying to make a better life for themselves and their families in a different country with more oppurtunities than thiers.

No, you mentioned California. I was only stating that your comment was true but the issue was larger than just California alone. I don't know if that made any more sense or not, I'm kind of out of it. But yeh, I, too, feel that everyone deserves to better their lives if that is the route they choose to lead. However, laws are laws. If they wish to be citizens, they should follow procedure rather than cheat the system. I wouldn't expect any different were I to move to Europe or Canada. But that's just my two cents. I agree with the government on this one.
