For All The Music Geeks Out There...

Jun 29, 2008 17:36

Okay, I've gotten so bored today that I was led to the Rolling Stones Magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time list... and I figured I'd list the ones that I actually own. I wish I owned more of them... well atleast the ones that actually appeal to me. So here it goes...

(The number on the left means where it ranks on the list for the sake of argument. And these are full albums that I actually own... no partial albums. If that were the case this list would be a lot longer. And keep in mind this list was published in 2003 so you won't see much of the newer stuff here.)

17. Nevermind - Nirvana

And that's it... who knew Nirvana would be at the top of my list? I mean I like Nirvana but I'm not CRAZY about them. Alice in Chains was definitely my favorite of the big Seattle four. If anything I'm missing A LOT of classic rock because I don't have ANY Zeppelin, The Who, Sex Pistols, or Def Leppard and I have very little Rolling Stones, David Bowie, and Jimi Hendrix Experience unfortunately. Even though I am a big fan of 90s rock, you gotta appreciate the classics so you can see where the inspiration originated. Which is another reason why you see large gaps after I get passed the 200 marker since I lack a lot of the previously mentioned. I also notice just about every Police album is on that list too... but I'm not sure if I really want that.:P

In other news, I drew my friend Jasmine.

Like I stated previously, she has a thing for butterflies and/or fairies. And if you listened to Michael Jackson... you'd understand that P.Y.T. is an acronym for "Pretty Young Thing"........yyyyyyyyyeah. So that concludes THIS post for now. Now I'm hungry... later yo!
