I'm not a fan of the franchise, as it seems like a poor man's version of "Rome". However, I am a fine critic of pretteh man-flesh, so allow me to share Dustin Clare...today's Hump Day Hunk.

Okay, so he's Stelios' older brother, who went off to fight somewhere, never came back because he was an Immie? *giggle* Oh, and Leonidas is all "WTF?" because the trainer of the gladiators is the guy who played the Persian messenger in 300.

We love the show. Started watching it as a guilty pleasure, but then it felt for us to really find itself. We have, though, started Rome (okay, we watched the first ep, but you know stupid RL) and are loving that, too. :)

I think my problem with it, aside from the GAWD awful dialogue, is that the women are trying to be Atia, and if you are going to imitate something, you need to do it even better...and they don't.

The new one looks better than the old one, I have to admit.
