Yay! I am so, so glad you posted. I want more discussion here too! When I started out I tried to engage the members in a little discussion but wasn't very successful. Maybe you and I should work together to make this more interactive community. I'd love for it to become more engaging
( ... )
Yes, it would be interesting and fun if we could engage some discussion here. I'll brainstorm a bit on how to do that. I've tried starting discussions in the gardening communities, but that doesn't always work.
My choice for my own personal garden is generally for a looser more romantic look because that suits me. However, part of what I love about designing professionally is that it gives you the opportunity to design something that isn't necessarily your own style or taste.
This garden probably wouldn't have been the solution I would have chosen for myself in this space. I like things more relaxed and nonchalant. But, it fits the residents, their home and the space perfectly (they are tidiest people you can imagine). That was (and is) my goal with a design.
Just saw that you are looking for plants for indoors...
I think the best tip I can give you is to choose larger plants and put them in larger pots - they need less care this way as you don't have to water them as frequently etc.

Thanks so much. Yes, I am very much looking forward to the vines growing and the foliage filling out (as are the owners).
Smiles,
Carrie
