*enters, greeting Seward with a nod* Well, now, how have you been doing? It's been a while, hasn't it?

*stands and indicates a chair, should Quincey want it* Far to long, in my opinion. I've been well, I suppose. As well as one ever can be around here.

*and here's a Pheebs, who is apparently possessed with a morbid sort of curiosity to see this asylum, wandering in and flopping next to Seward* Heya.

*briefly startled, but more by her abrupt entrance than by the fact it's her* Hullo, Pheebs. I haven't seen you in a while. What have you been up to?

*she opens the door and enters* Hello, I do hope I'm not intruding...

Never, dear. It's not as if there is much to intrude on anyway. How have you been holding up?

*if there's say, a knock at the door, would it be utterly scandalous to find Victoria behind it, her hair down and a flower in her every-which-way curls? if your answer is yes, it would, then that's exactly where Seward shall find her, perfectly decently dressed otherwise, albeit in her usual state of disarray.*

*well, scandalous or not, Seward would be more than a little startled, though secretly pleased; and who are we to deny him a little start? ergo, he answers the door and there she is*

Victoria! Darling, please, come in. *stands back and gives a little bow, hiding his puzzlement at her appearance* If I'd known you were coming I'd have held the tea for you. I fear it's probably getting cold by now.

*she smiles and for a moment leans against the doorframe, a teasing smile on her lips* If you had known, darling, it wouldn't have been a surprise.

*smiles back, perhaps blushing a little* There you have a point. *takes her hand an kisses it*
