*Victoria smiles as she steps from her carriage-- it's not raining, but she prefers not to travel on foot. Her dress is long and looks new, though perhaps it's simply an old dress that she hasn't had a chance to wear in a while, one that has not yet fallen out of style. When she sees Seward, she touches her hair (it's curled tonight, so that it falls in ringlets at her neck), touches her collar, her cuffs, more a nervous habit than anything else.*

*Seward quickly tucks away his handkerchief, despite it still being tied in a knot, and goes to greet her with a kiss on the hand*

Victoria, you look absolutely beautiful. I'll have to keep my eyes open to make sure no dashing younger man comes and steals you away. *offers his arm*
