Yeah, it stunk up the bus for hours.

Nobody human died that was close to me or even that I vaguely knew, thank Christ. Hopefully this new trend of people I know not dying will continue.

None stick out. The 2 days I hung out with Alex, Mary and Stevos were a highlight. Which may or may not be pathetic. The first and second Going Steady were fun. Whatever dates those were. That house party with No Dynamics, and the record release for said band at the Bagel were also fun...I guess also that day I responded to a "bass player wanted" ad.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Sorry, I'm too self-centered to give an informed opinion.
Having said that, Steve Birek's overall behavior deserves kudos of all kinds heaped on him. Good friend, good host, solid dude all around.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
I have no authority to pass judgement on anyone else's behaviour. I make myself appalled and depressed more than anyone I know anyway.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Food. Take out mexican mostly. I have no regrets

Taking my vaudeville act in front of a talent scout. I slipped some roofies in his drink and date raped his mouth. It's called the Aristocrats!

A slowly but surely growing love affair with obscure soul 45's (I only have one, but I have lots of mp3's...and I listen to northern soul radio every day)

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
This year I thought the whole celebrity thing got too ridiculous to even care about. All these people like Nick and Jessica and Paris Hilton and Ashlee Simpson and Lindsay Lohan seem to be headline news, but I still don't entirely understand what they do...I know they're on TV and in movies and make music, but they don't do any of that well or anything...
Also, Vanessa - who I got this meme from, and whose words I'm deleting to make space for this - Stephen Malkmus is a "celebrity"? I'm pretty sure you can go over to his house and he'll make you a sandwich
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Local stuff...pretty boring to other people. So if you live around here (and plenty of you don't) ask me in person sometime if you really care.

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
Well, I rapped upon a house
With the U.S. flag upon display
I said, "Could you help me out
I got some friends down the way"
The man says, "Get out of here
I'll tear you limb from limb"
I said, "You know they refused Jesus, too"
He said, "You're not Him"
PS - I noticed that this survey contained a deficiency of dave sampson...he rules
