It's strange. I have a growing uneasiness about talking on the phone. I was never much of a phone talker to begin with but I think working at Quickie for five years made me detest it. I know this so well. It's a shame my job includes calling clients.

I hate talking on the phone anymore. If people want carryout, someone else is ordering. I'm not callig it in, screw y'all. And it's just that feeling of dread about speaking on the phone itself. 99% of the time, the conversation goes fine. But that's NOT THE POINT.

I really wish I could just txt or IM for everything.

i'm the same way too. im glad at work it's only other stores that call and not the public. i would shoot myself. i feel so nervous about what to say next that i usually just don't pick up at all. i don't even like listening to voicemails BECAUSE i didn't pick up in the first place and i'm assuming it's either bad news or they're mad at me for never picking up. i text even my boss now so i don't have to call
