vintage spirit photo

I recently purchased a beautiful cloche hat from "Boring Sidney" on etsy.com and my boyfriend, who's a photographer, immediately said "We must do a vintage photo!!!"

This is the result of our efforts -- I hope you like it, because I certainly enjoyed the process!

Thank you -- the cat's a nice touch! We have five, so it's actually difficult to take a picture without one of them making an appearance ;)

wow he did an incredible job with it! I can honestly not tell it's a modern era photo. Oh wait I see the light switch but I think they might have had them in the 1920's in really rich houses. I love that the cat is looking at the camera :)

I'm so glad you like it -- he's a pretty amazing photographer ;) But you're right about the light switch giving it away as a "fake." Many houses in our neighborhood still have the "button" switches, but ours were replaced long ago.

I like that there's a ghost in the background, I remember before digital cameras when two pics would overlap like that, such a cool effect

unless I'm the only one seeing the ghost... eep!
