I am so pleased that you like it! I'm really pleased with it, partly because it's the first sort of semi-finished thing I've written in the last week (exam period has meant I can't write at all cos then it takes over the memory space for revision, or something.)

And seriously, I don't think I'm very good or anythign and I just got here by practise. In year 10 - I think I was 15 or somethign, I decided to start properly writing, and I just made myself write 500 words a day of anything at for years, and yeah, I just started writing more and getting better cos it started to become really fun to write as I got better.

So I guess that what I'm saying is it's basically 90% practise and yeah, I think pretty much anyone can become a passable writer. Plus it's bloody fun.

i love how the characters are inter-twining and its a really original plot line.

Also, geez, the stuff you've read is ancient, like, I think I've rewritten the first half of the book twice already.

Anyway, I FINISH EXAMS TOMORROW AND START THE LONGEST SUMMER HOLIDAY OF MY ADULT LIFE. So yeah, plan to do a final rewrite and edit of the book, then I'm gonna start sending it out.

I am so glad that you like it. It's such a bitch to edit because if I juggle around one plot line it effects all the other characters. Everything counterbalances.

Yeah it actually is! Well, it's kinda meant to be a general point about relationships, but half of it's about sex (the whole plane and mighty thing.)

I'm well glad that you said that, cos it means, like, it works as a parable thing.

Did you think it was alright? I'm quite pleased with it but I haven't written for ages so it's just kinda busywork cos I can't really write during exams.

oh god yes we are. I've already got a huge bottle of whiskey and a huge bottle of rum and a huge bottle of ginger wine and lots of fruit juice and coca cola. Still need to get some gin and some tonic and some vodka and half an ounce and some speed and then I'm set.

It's going to be wonderful.
