Long time, man, much too long. Got the assessment back and it's down to a few months to go.

My novel is doing my head in and I can't work on it cos of all my university assignment things...

Tell me about it, man. I'm trying to pound through two hundred pages a week of refining for the next three weeks before the next story draft, then a final draft in December. And I'm starting to feel pretty fucking drained by it and people's reactions to the amount of time I spend doing it.

Nah, I was thinking of doing a gap year and doing a TEFL course then teaching eng in China, but then I got a place on this course and I dunno, I just wanted to get out of THE HOUSE OF DEATH etc, and yeah...I think I made the right decision, I'm very happy here.

Plus ELla was going straight to Uni, so I'd have been a bit miserable if I'd been dossing about Brighton on my lonesome.

Yeah it's amazing, I'm having an awesome time. That thing about the KTVU things is amazing - I love crazy coincidences.
