Here I go fucking things up again. I called to check on my late disability check today and was informed that according to Office Max human resources that I dont have short term disability. Apparently I was supposed to fill out a proof of insurability for, which I was never offerred, and I was informed via mail, which I wasn't, of the denial of

The idea that a corporation could refuse to give you what you deserve because THEY refused to give YOU the proper forms and then obviously fire you for it makes me wonder what the point is of having systems like workers comp at all in the first place. God damn. It makes me intensely angry.
And I don't even kind of understand how it accomplishes anything for them to fire you, other than making things worse for you. Because if you do take them to court, it just makes them look even shadier.

I hope you take them to court because you deserve money. And a fucking break./
