i was thinking about ordering this www.middleeasternmall.com/petite-satin-stripes-scarf-pink-p-1514.html for myself for my upcoming bday, but i don;t have any experience with chiffon.

Does it breathe?

Does it get overly hot?

Is it easy to work with without slipping?

Thanks all!

I might try it with an underscarf because it is pretty slick, but over all it's not too warm of a fabric.

if its natural fibers you should be fine. Synthetic fibers are always going to be really really really warm.

I second the above. Both warm and slippery.

I concur that chiffon can be slippery, and with the silky stripes it really looks extra slippery, although straight chiffon varies considerably.

But chiffon is my go-to summer fabric! It's generally very cool compared to almost all my other scarves. I don't think it really depends on what it's made of so much, either; it's just a very light fabric no matter how you slice it. I also don't get the sweaty head with my chiffon scarves, not that that's usually a problem; ymmv however depending on the scarf.
