Well in my rush to write the last entry, i wrote that i went cave diving. What i actually meant to say is that i went swimming in a cave... It was cold. Since New Years, i travelled back to Manila and partied a last night with my brother who is now back in Geneva. Then went to Cebu City and ate at a place called Sutukil which had incredible sea

Were you at the festival of the Black Nazarene? I guess not since you are running around on chocolate covered hills that look like the cover to some edenic Sci-Fi novel. If you were I'm totally demanding your take on it- the festival is one of those religious studies geek things that I have always wanted to take part in.

you know... i was in manila during the festival... and i wanted to go but i wasn't too dedicated to the idea and neither was my cousin... but there were people walking round' barefoot as part of it, and there were very pious-looking people on the tv but no, i didn't go see. Crowds of holy people frighten me
