In one of my first LJ entries, I wrote about a hotel/conference center Gaudi designed for NY, that was never built. Imagine my surprise when I saw the following newstory: Architect, Dead 77 Years, Enters Futuristic WTC Plan
It's too bad it probably won't ever get built. I remember having the same feeling when a firm here in the Bay Area preposed a Frank Lloyd Wright design for the new span of the Bay Bridge. Of course it just wasn't meant to be.
