Yeah. and now the rotary encoder is working properly so it's "Hello, world! one, aw aw aw, two, aw aw aw..."

Cool beans. I'm looking into micros now, as it's something I haven't really roached yet, and I wana build a CNC table to make panels for my modules. Three servo motor control loops for three axises, relative position sensors for said axises, drill speed servo control - not too hard so far as I read, but implementing the G code from the computer will prove more challenging. Guess we'll keep each other posted :]
