Speaking of synths and things Stargate oriented, apparently the composer for Stargate Universe has a MOTM system.

Which, of course, doesn't sound good unless you have those cryogenic carbon fiber wall sockets.

And if you get the Asgard to MIDI interface module, songs practically write themselves.
