All Things Jonas (Target=Mew)

It's no great mystery that I'm a big fan of Mew. Not the Pokemon, but the Danish space-rock/dream pop band. In particular, I greatly enjoy the eerie, high-pitched voice of angel-faced singer Jonas (pronounced YO! nas), who not only writes beautiful lyrics, but also does amazing video and animations for the band's live showsI'm overjoyed to find

I know how you feel about the Coldplay connection. I've nothing against Coldplay. They're a decent enough group, I suppose. I mean I was fairly moved by "Parachutes" when it first came out, but it quickly became SRSLY overplayed.

I much prefer Starsailor, Elbow, Travis, or even Keane (Bedhspped is very pretty) in the genre of British piano rock.

Anyway, it doesn't matter about Coldplay dude because Apparatjik are fairly awesome.

BTW: I want a shirt with the Mew angel (see your icon)! I hope they have them at their next show (yeah! I'm seeing them again soon).
