C's interpretation of variable scope is not, dear reader, the simple elegance of syntactic sugar for lambda binding that SML gives you in its let-expressions. So in a city where seven million people take the subway every day, the subway closing down is really bad.

I walked 7.4 miles to work in the cold today. Ick. And why did I do this? Why, because I have to get my trip reimbursement forms (for expenses totalling $1000+) in, or I don't get reimbursed. I'm so not doing this trek tomorrow.

California was supposed to be warm and sunny. The Googleplex is very cool, nonetheless.

I'll be around SF till Dec 20. *kisses*!

I have been busybusybusy with the new job in Manhattan. Much to learn, much to do.

Getting very slowly settled into my new place in Brooklyn, and am finding that I spent most of my non-work hours in a place called the Tea Lounge, pictured below.
