oh. basically it goes like this:
the argument given that there can be
a good god even though there is evil
in the world says that evil must be
present for "good" to have any meaning,
and that god is good for allowing
evil and giving us free will.
using that, heaven or hell simply
cannot exist because they would both
be one without the other. yinless yang,
or yangless yin.
plus, if you take away choices you take
away free will, so even if there is a
"heaven" you couldn't enjoy it because
you'd be a mindless drone drooling at
the bright light.

i totally agree that we'd have to be mindless drones drooling in heaven and it doesn't sound appealing b/c we wouldn't be ourselves. we couldn't for the place to exist. that's what i've been telling people around here. keep up the good fight.
