The last three tournaments I ran were pretty much solo undertakings; I had the idea on my own, and implemented mostly by myself, with occasional help from a few close friends in determining seeding. In the interest of greater voter participation, I've solicited suggestions for the next tournament from all of you, and now I'll be polling you on

I'd like to add an extra emphatic vote for Best Novel. I've made a couple of goes on the ML's List of the 100 Best Novels, but I think it would be interesting to see what a different demographic comes up with.

There are a lot of these that actually would produce solid tournaments it looks like. I think I'd actually love a best mindfuck tournament. A few immediate come to mind [Season 3 finale of lost, aeris getting what she deserves, the original and better ending of dodgeball I think would qualify]. I would like to shy away from a more standard tournament, like best album or best novel, but I can understand these are easier to run, and still fun to watch unfold. However, there is a very good chance I will run the best AD joke tourney myself. The recent one I can't get out of my head is "that's not a volv-O" followed by "that's the car." Dont know why.
