...annnnnnd done.
ANYWAY.
Zits - I had intended to write a comment about how Zits doesn't really belong in the finals and whatnot. But then I realized, I read the comic every day, pretty much enjoy it whenever I do, and most of the other stuff these days is just garbage. Perhaps that inflates my opinion of the comic above what it would be if measured against some of the past classics, but even if thats the case, I will gladly accept Zits as a finalist.
Calvin and Hobbes - When I step back and look at the comic as a whole, it really hits me just how messed up Calvin really is. I mean, sure, we all have fantasies about beating people up and so on, but Calvin has fantasies about slaughtering his entire class in glee. Combine that with his many extremely morbid snowmen, and you have a little goth in the making. And by goth, I mean possible terrorist.

Doonesbury...The impact on America is hard to ignore from this comic strip
The Far Side...No impact on American life from this strip. Just strange laughs (are those guffaws?)

Doonesbury
I can't believe I'm voting against Zits. Doonesbury is an institution, though. Have I said that before in this tournament? Regarding other comics? Possibly... ah well on to reason B: I like the way that Trudeau draws eyes.
