[What looks like the outskirts of Violet City at night is where Miyuki is right now. Those who cared or have been around with her traveling or what have you may notice she's been a little quiet for the past couple of days. Eevee evolve into Umbreon under the moons rays, so only at night. It's said also that the bond between the trainer and Eevee must be at its strongest as well.

What exactly causes those things to evolve into the black and the purple ones? I looked in the dex and stuff but only those other three were listed as having stones or whatever.

Eevee evolve into Umbreon during the night when they are supposedly the happiest they could be with their trainers. Evolving into Espeon is of the same fashion, except it's during the daytime.

In terms of special attributes, the rings on Umbreon can start to glow when exposed to a certain amount of moon aura.

I am unsure, I have just arrived. I'll be sure to take in as many sights as I can before heading to the next town. I do want to see if I could find anything that might benefit a breeder.

No, Frusiante was hatched from an egg shortly after I started my journey. This Chansey here was.
