This afternoon was about the closest thing I've had to a nightmare since I was very little. I sensed what was happening and woke myself, but I was still lucid after waking and the experience continued. I felt the heavy touch of a dark force on my back. Utter darkness and dread crept through me from the point of contact and quickly consumed me.

i had a dream a little while ago where i was shot in the back. i got pretty scared because i had to think my last thoughts, which were pretty pathetic. mainly because they consisted of me being in utter disbelief that i was actually dying and that i was ridiculous because i was just letting myself die instead of fighting.
