Half Blood Prince

So, I just quickly went back to skim a few people's reaction posts, but I didn't see anyone saying anything about the H/G kiss. (I've seen a lot about the shoelaces, and I agree.)  But it's late, and I'm drinking a beer so maybe I missed it.  Anyway, I need to say it.

It was weird.  To me it was like something from some weird art school movie.  She tells him to come with her then they are in the RoR then they kiss for a second and then she asks if he wants her to hide?

WTF?

If someone wants to explain it to me, please do.  But you're not going to convince me that it was good  It was weird and completely out of place.

Also, if someone could explain why Kloves thinks making Harry say the most ridiculous, stupid, out of character things makes him the OMGMOSTBRILLIaNTSCREENWRITEROMG!!!!!? Because if Harry were really to say something like, "I've never noticed how beautiful this place is." (I don't know if that's exact) like he said at the end of this movie, Ron should really have made fun of him.  Hell, Hermione should have made fun of him.  Actually, I think he deserves another smack from Hermione and perhaps a bludger to the head from Ron for that line.  I HATE IT.  Can you tell?  It's just like PoA with the "We'll live in the country.  Somewhere he can see the sky."  Say what?

Things I did love about this movie:

The acting of the kids was miles better than previous films. And the adults were great.  Loved Jim Broadbendt.
It was truly, LOL funny a lot of the times.
A combo of those two - Harry under the Felix Felicis potion.  Hilarious.
Hermione's hair after that first potions class  - that was what her hair should look like all the time.
Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes.
Ron.
Ron.
Did I mention Ron?

So I liked it.  However, I'm still hopeful, though, that by the time I'm 87, the Peter Jackson of the HP fandom will come along and have remade the movies.

spoilers, harry potter. hbp
