#1 - Our meetup in Chitown was epic and you were mentioned one or 87 times.
#2 - We read The Forest Again before we left for the movie. Tears anyone? JFC.
#3 - I agree with you on the movie stance. I love them so much for what they are. The only time I ever got a bit shirty was during PoA with the lack of the Marauders. Yeah, yeah.
#4 - Our audience was GREAT! There was laughter and cheering and whistling and hooting and hollering and the loudest noise ever when three things happened: Ron and Hermione kissed, Molly Weasley went all BAMF, and Neville chopped Nagini's head off.
#5 - BOOTLEG?! Awesome!
#6 - I went and saw it again with my son on Saturday afternoon and it was still amazing. I want to see it at least one more time before it's outta theaters. Preferably from somewhere not in the first or second row. Dont'. Ask.
#7 - Tumblr is like my crax this last week or three.
#8 - *sigh* I just don't want it all to be over just yet. *sigh*
Yes, I'm a big schmoophead. :P So glad you enjoyed it tho!!!
Someday I am going to make Drew fly me to Iowa so I can hang out with you! :D
We saw PoA at the midnight showing and although I told everyone we needed to get to the theater early, no one listened to me. I had to pop a pill to combat my motion sickness before it started because UGH.
There were lots of "Awwwwkwarrrd"s in the theater during that Voldemort hug. Funniest bit in the movie, hands down.
Maybe I'm reacting to how horrific the makeup was in the candid shots from the initial shooting (which was thankfully scrapped), but I really loved the epilogue and thought everyone looked reasonably realistic. I mean, it's always going to be giggle-worthy when characters are teenagers and then thirty-somethings in the space of a few seconds, even if they'd gone all out and done Avatar-style performance capture. I don't see what the big deal is.
