ecaasu is always a mixed bag- and yes, people go for different reasons- but you know what, regardless of all the punkass activists and the folks who are there to push their pimpjuice- ecaasu serves a purpose. and people will take away what they come to get. and hopefully, several people will take away something they did not necessarily know they were going to get-
there are more substantial conferences yes- ecaasu serves as a jumping off point for many- maybe next time- you can go back and try to bring other folks up-

The first APIA conference I went to, I hated everything and e'erbody, for the same reason. But I was ignoring the fact that there was a lot of people trying to create change, and even some of the people who weren't there for positive reasons may have seeds of positivity and food for thought instilled in them despite themselves.
And Suchin Pak is an idiot.
