it's practically thursday again?! i totally got jipped out of a weekend by attending ECAASU. i want 48 hours of my life back!
i havent written about ECAASU yet b/c i know that it's never a good idea to post anything when you're upset. and by upset i mean PEESED. overall it was a good feeling being there, but someone's comment at the very end of the

ecaasu is always a mixed bag- and yes, people go for different reasons- but you know what, regardless of all the punkass activists and the folks who are there to push their pimpjuice- ecaasu serves a purpose. and people will take away what they come to get. and hopefully, several people will take away something they did not necessarily know they were going to get-

there are more substantial conferences yes- ecaasu serves as a jumping off point for many- maybe next time- you can go back and try to bring other folks up-

There's good and bad in everything.

The first APIA conference I went to, I hated everything and e'erbody, for the same reason. But I was ignoring the fact that there was a lot of people trying to create change, and even some of the people who weren't there for positive reasons may have seeds of positivity and food for thought instilled in them despite themselves.

And Suchin Pak is an idiot.

what's wrong with suchin pak? hmm maybe i should clarify--i was angry at what someone said while suchin pak was giving her speech. it wasnt suchin pak who pissed me off. i think she did a decent job with her speaking.
