The Dems could put up Biden, and he wouldn't be a bad pick. Of course, he doesn't have the star power of McCain, but a lot of things can happen in politics really fast. Just ask Dean.

I will probably vote for McCain myself, because I agree that the Democrats have no option that is equally palatable. If they go with Hilary, I am seriously giving up on our country.

I've heard from my washington insider friend that McCain is a bit of a wackjob. I do think he has a good shot if he runs though.
