Eee, I ADORE this backstory you've created! Time Agent!Burt (well, I suppose former-Time Agent!Burt) is win, and everything makes so much more sense now about why Kurt is the way he is.

Definitely looking forward to the next part :)

(And I actually miss writing Torchwood fic, too; I had some things on the go but then Glee took over my brain...)

I really enjoyed writing this chapter, so I'm very glad it worked (:
Torchwood fandom/fic just got too depressing for me after Children of Earth. I get over invested in fictional characters, so...
And I still have a completed Jack/Ianto fic and an uncomplete 10k AU that I just couldn't post in the end.

It's funny, the Britishism bothered me when the story seemed Glee-centric with a little bit of Doctor Who thrown in. but once it seemed to merge the other way, mostly Doctor Who with a a little Glee thrown in, the Britishisms didn't bug me anymore. Funny thing, that.

I try to only use the Briticisms when a Doctor who character is talking, but unfortuately, being British myself, I don't always pick up on them.
