xDD

I missed that cartoon thingy

but is anime really cartoons?

it's a hard one - I define cartoon as animation in all its forms so anime is covered but also CG animation too.... it's a broard coverage by a term which people can interprate differently.

I call anime an artform more than I cartoon

I dont kno why but I have never thought of it as a cartoon

True, I did orginally then it kinda all got together. The same could be said about film, one film could be a masterpiece but on the other end of the scale you have B-movies and porn but it's all known as 'film'. Crazy stuff.

Yea I get what you mean

Still, Anime aint a cartoon as such, and it is officially an art form

See what really gets your head in a mess is pointing out that anything is art form, which is why the Tate has odd white boxes in shapes or a messy bed. Art is simply interpritation of what you see - explaining it in various ways and sometimes to even find meaning in what isn't there (Lord of the Rings is a prime example - it's compared to WW2). Therefore everything is odd. Including said messy bed with beer cans which got sold for a couple of million and is, in actual fact, complete and utter bollocks.

It was a weird list, some where in good places (IE: Family guy - number 5) but some where far far too high up (Thundercats, teenage mutant ninja turtles) some didn't even appear (Where the fuck was speed racer?)and some where high when the deserved to be in the bin (Shrek. finding nemo. fuck off.)

Yay for akira though! I was impressed!

Speaking as a non-hentai, i was shocked by how attractive i still find jessica rabbit...

Maybe she dates Roger because he goes like a rabbit....

It's a good sign of peoples attitudes changing - Simpsons, Family Guy and South Park all in top spots while Micky Mouse and Donald Duck nowhere to be seen.
