Kelly and Josh -those photos are fantastic!!!! I loved the bird ones too, but the PLANT ones were FABULOUS! :) I noticed in one it seemed the nest was ringed by a little pink plant - did the bird pick that spot because of the plant ( a little cushier, a little wind protection?), or did the flower do better there due to the extra bird poop?? I wondered. What a beautiful and empty place - I love knowing that there is a place somewhere so empty and free of humans that the rest of nature can just do its thing relatively unmolested... I love thinking about the miles and miles of Northern Canada that are free of roads, cities and PEOPLE. Too bad global warming is screwing up even these human-free places.
