Grandpa out of hospital finally

Two weeks ago my 87 year old Grandpa was severely injured while cutting off a tree limb. It was a large limb and as it fell it swung back into the legs of the ladder causing it to break and Grandpa to be thrown to the ground. Great news! ... The recovery part. Not the accident part. As for your grandpa putting his saw up first, not that unusual with that generation, from the anecdotal evidence I have. Then again, most 87 year olds probably aren't even in good enough shape to be sawing limbs off trees in the first place, so that's pretty cool.

I can't imagine not knowing how to put gas in a car. Even if I hardly ever do it (actually, I've never done it, as I can't drive), I know how. Strange. ;)

Grandpa is in extremely good shape for his age. He had a heart attack about 20 years ago and both Grandma and Grandpa made some serious life changes. ie eating right, exercising, etc.

The gas thing is weird. I'm sure she could have figured it out, she just didn't want to. :)
