...Bush won. I guess that's the way the ball bounces. I'm too exhausted to make a huge stink about it; more people wanted Bush. That's that. It makes me slightly sick that people in this country think how they do, but what the hell can I do now.

I think it didn't come to which candidate was better but which one was hated more.
Oh well, if you want to find anything positive about this is that Bush can be in power only for the next 4 years.

i wouldnt be so sure about that. would you really put it past bush to add some crappy clause to the Patriot Act giving him full authority to take a third term, without election, because it would "fight terrorism and defend democracy"?

to hell with bush!

He wouldn't do that. Do you seriously think that? Because it would never happen. We still live in a democracy, even if the vote didn't go our way. Bush is not a dictator, we fucking chose him. Welcome to the good ol' USA.

Not to say I'm happy or satisfied with our country's decision. But if I'd say to hell with anyone, it's to hell with our fellwo citizens for choosing him. S'pretty much what I wanted to say.

I never said that people who support Bush are sick. I said their beliefs make me slightly sick. Big difference.

i feel that everyone has the right to their beliefs. to say that someones beliefs makes you sick is really quite ... judgemental...

in addition to choosing the election, we are allowed free thought.

And jusst because the majority elected bush, does not necessarily belive that they agreed with his stance on EVERY issue... just that they preferred more of Bush's than Kerrys.
I think a lot of times that gets lost in everything else. Voting for Bush/Kerry does not automatically make you believe EVERYTHING they say. just that you like *most or some* of what they say over the other guy.

Sorry if I seem bitchy. This is affecting me more than I anticipated, and I can't percieve jokes. Combined with a whole bunch of other issues I have to deal with, this is just too much for me to handle right now. I don't mean to take it out on anyone.
