Good news on the job front - they want me on for at least the next month. Everyone is so nice, and I love working there. I've already been there for a month which is crazy. Time is just flying by

No need to. I didn't do it, there's no reason to point out to them that they are acting childish. They made it apparent enough. The situation was comical and didn't warrant any retaliation.
