A/N: Ok, yeah, I know. It's an xmas fic. I dont care. I actually kinda like this one, but... IDK. it's weird
Jaejoong sighed heavily at the box in front of him. Yes, he knew it was Christmas, yes, he knew that he got the honour of decorating the Christmas tree this year, yes he realised that it was going to be photographed and labelled 'Jae's Year' but he didn't want it to be his year. He didn't want to decorate the damned Christmas tree. He wanted to be outside, in Yunho's arms just because the younger was cold. He did it every year... He'd run over to him, snowflakes gently melting in his hair, a good few layers on him and complain he was cold. Jaejoong, as always, would stand there and laugh, but let himself be pulled over towards the rest of the group despite the fact it was obviously a lie.
Not this year, though. Well... It might happen, he supposed, hanging a blue star on one branch, slipping a small, fake parcel in between layers of branches. He could run in at any moment and complain he's cold... “But I'd have to stay in...” He pouted, adding more decoration and lots more tinsel. “Jaeeeeee~ Boooooooo~” Jaejoong rolled his eyes. Of course. Here we go. “It's cold outside!”
“Well put another layer on, then. Or stay in this year. Either or.” He tried not to smile as he imagined the leader scowling behind him, then pouting cutely. “Awww... C'mon, you're missing all the fun!”
“I know, but do you want a Christmas tree that's decorated this year or not?” He heard Yunho huff behind him when suddenly a cold pair of hands found their way down the back of his top, causing him to cry out gently and shudder from the sudden cold. “Yunnie!” He gasped, rolling his shoulders back and shaking around, trying to give the message he wasn't coming out. “Pweeeeaaasssseeee?” Yunho pleaded, laying his head on Jae's shoulder. Jaejoong sighed in defeat. “Fine. After I finish this, I promise I'll come outside.”
“Yes!” Yunho nuzzled Jae's neck for a few moments before pulling away, leaving Jaejoong pouting at the loss of contact. “I'll stay in here until you finish then.” Yunho nodded, taking off the blue hat and the three extra layers he was wearing before throwing them onto the sofa across the room. He walked over to the stereo and after flipping through a few CD's, slipped one in. Suddenly, the room was filled with Christmas music, some strange English guy singing a jazzier version of Jingle Bells like he was singing to the love of his life. Pfft. Yeah, right, Yunho thought, rolling his eyes. He pressed a button and the track changed, going to a slightly more up beat track. “Hah. Winter Wonderland. Just like outside~” He grinned, leaning against the wall next to Jae.
After a few more minutes of decorating, Jaejoong still wasn't happy with the way the tree looked. He and Yunho were singing happily away to yet another cheesy Christmas song, his foot tapping gently to the beat. Yunho pushed himself off the wall and grabbed Jae's waist with a single hand his other hand coming up to grab the other's. “Y- Yunnie, what are you doing?”
“Dancing with you, silly!” Jaejoong blinked a few times as Yunho continued to be rather enthusiastic before shrugging gently and letting himself be spun in small circles, ignoring the dizzy sensation. “Yunnie, I hate to break it to you, but I have to put the star on top our tree...” Yunho pouted. But it was almost natural doing this, holding a loved one in your arms and dancing at Christmas...
Jae pulled himself away from Yunho, grabbing the golden star from the box of decorations. “Care to do the honours?” He smiled, handing it over and stepping aside so that Yunho could reach the tree. “Now, I did promise I'd come outside and warm you up, didn't I?” Yunho smirked. “I'm warm now... I think I'd prefer hot, though...” Jaejoong licked his lips, looking Yunho over. “Hmm... Yeah... But so many layers to take off still...”
“We can soon sort that out...” With that, the two men were all over each other, clothing flying in different directions as they made their way into the bedroom...
Fin.
Hope it wasn't too suck-ish... =/ I have a knack for writing stuff, liking it, then realising it's absolute crap.
