Er right.

So. I wake up in this bed that's not mine. In pajamas that aren't mine. In a room that looks nothing like mine. After looking around, I've found this computer and some sort of forum for where it says we are. Canada. I've gone and landed myself in Canada?? These screams of the Doctor somehow. So anyone feel like telling an English ( Read more... )

Dear Ms. Sparrow,

Your confusion is very normal for this town, you'll find. Though I'm sure that right now that's hardly reassuring to you, is it? Maybe you'll be more reassured to know that I have met a man called the Doctor here, since it sounds like you may know him.

People arrive here unexpectedly all the time, so please allow me to be the first to welcome you to Aternaville! If there's anything I can do to make things easier for you, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm at your service.

Yours sincerely,

Er. Hi Imonoyama Nokoru. Why is the confusion normal for this town?

You've met the Doctor? Is he around? He'd be able to fix it. What exactly do you mean people arrive here all the time unexpectedly?

Nokoru is good enough, Miss Sparrow. I know my family name is a little tricky to spell!

Well, because this town has a way of mysteriously transporting people here from distant places and times. May I ask what year you believe it is? I don't mean to scare you; I know it can be unnerving at first, but this is really a very delightful town, just a somewhat... quirky one.

I have spoken with the Doctor via these journals, but not actually met him in person. I understand he's rather elusive, but he's certainly spent quite a bit of time here. If it would ease your mind, I'll find him for you.

I assume you've already met Miss Byrne?

Yours sincerely,

Oh, please Nokoru, call me Sally.

More distant than England? Times. Times like time traveling like the Doctor in his people? It was June 2009, last I checked. Is it not anymore? Oh, believe me, I've experienced quirk. Wibbly wobbly timey wimey and all that nonsense.

He's spent time here? In this little town in Canada? If it wouldn't be too much trouble, I'd appreciate that.

Who is Miss Byrne?

You too, hey? 'm Sid. I woke up here, too...a bloody year into my future (explain that to me). I'm also from England. Bristol, actually. Where are you from?

Try having your friend snatched from you and taken to 1920. Bloody irritating, that. Nice to speak to you, Sid. London, for me.

Yeah er. Not exactly the most normal life I've led. Well, most of it was normal. Excepting a several week time span and this whole landing on a different bloody continent thing, it's been almost normal.

I'm pretty fond of it, to be honest.
