Every day on my way to the office, I pass that big billboard near the state line that announces the current Mega Millions jackpot (if I look in my rear view mirror as I pass it, I can see the Powerball jackpot on the opposite side of the board). Not infrequently, I spend a good portion of the rest of my journey down the tollway thinking about that ( Read more... )

Buy ten of the most expensive bottles of gin I could find, and take them and my boyfriend somewhere quiet with a large bed.

He's made me into such a simpleton.

Eradicate malaria.

Okay, that would take more like a few billion, but starting up a charitable trust to devote money to solving a big problem that isn't easily tackled by the free market would be a good thing.

On a more selfish note, first of all, I'd buy one of these. Then I'd get a nice forested plot of land along the shore, possibly in Maine or the Upper Peninsula, so I'd have a place to put it. Then I'd do some walking. Taking a crack at the Appalachian Trail might be nice, or just spending a month or so on the North Country Trail perhaps, since I have no illusions about being in shape to thru-hike the AT at this moment.

My idea is paying off my bills and my mom's bills and buying myself what i want and finish school without worrying. I'd also give some to my close family and give britin some so she can be cauht up for the rest of her life and get treatment for her disorder. I'd also give some to several charities. I'm a good person sometimes. I'd also save some.

Spend all the money to hire a crack team to graffiti the side of the White House with:

"Kilroy was here."

I changed my mind. I would pay off all my debts, get a good set of shoes, a jacket, shorts, long pare of pants, backpack, and load up a Visa checkcard and go on a 5 year walk the earth tour. Hey it worked for Kwai Chang Caine...sans the money, and good footware, and a backpack.

I don't know if you saw my post yesterday mentioning this or if you'd just assumed based on circumstances, but I can't make it up to MN next weekend. I miss you, but this is really a bad time for me to make such a trek. *hugs*

Maybe...does that mean you won't be at Noah's Ark? Or are you saying in addition to Noah's Ark? *looks hopeful*
