Bowing out.

Mar 07, 2011 17:02

Due to having to miss a big chunk of the con because of my new job, I just resigned as NakamaCon's artist alley coodinatrix/from the con com. I feel terrible about having to do so, but it was unavoidable. Economic stability has to trump fandom sometimes.

Maybe it bears repeating, and maybe it doesn't, 'cos I know we haven't forgotten it, but still..

REAL LIFE COMES FIRST. (And DO what you gotta do!)

Everyone in the fandom knows this (or should) and anyone that's got a problem with it needs a life. So don't you start guilting yourself to death for bowing out 'cos you got gainful employment. :P

I know. I'm just not a fan of disappointing folk.

I second the bear's sentiments.

That's the reason why I left RCFM. Work + School = No free time.

I may have something to help fill the "need to volunteer" void. Do you think you will be able to attend all of Windy?

Your e-mail seems to be bouncing. Suffice to say that I'm mulling over the idea that you had sent me.

Oh, to be in a relationship with someone obscenely wealthy, like Nick Charles.
