There are always two sides to every story, at least. As they say History is written by the victors.

For a rehash on my history particularly relating to relationships I was dumped a two years ago by my boyfriend of almost 4 years, only a few weeks after discussing engagements rings for another woman

I was wondering when you'd hear about this, but I didn't expect that the news would come from, of all people, the woman he left you for. By the sound of things though, it went as well as it could have done, and it's good to know that even if you can't like her, there's some sort of peace there.

As for the man in question, as much as I don't like to admit it, a lot of your observations are true, at least to some extent. I'm still sticking with him as a friend, but...he can be a real idiot sometimes.

I, in some ways, respect your decision to try and stick with him even with all his douchebag-edness. I just don't want to see you become a new misdirection guy. You're a good guy Ray and I don't want his idiot ways to effect your friendships with anyone.
