Endings and Beginnings

Well, we finished our contract here in Korea, and signed on for a second year. Despite all the ups and downs, it still feels like the right place for us to be right now. A number of cool new people have arrived (including a friend of ours from when we were in Japan), which means we've got friends here now. We've also paid off the debt we ( Read more... )

I'm both happy (for you) and sad (for us) that you'll be there another year. Congrats on paying off your debt.

I don't want Kimchi, but have you learned or done any nifty art-type stuff lately?

Hmm.. art stuff. I've gotten back into Knitting again, and am nearly finished with a funky vest-like object that I've been designing as a I go along. I'm playing with photography today, and have been having a nagging to play with my bookmaking stuff again.

How about you?

Hey - Hana is over and I read her the post which brought up the question of how long ago you moved out of Storvik. LLT says she thinks it was 4-5 years ago?

We moved to Japan August 2004. So, that sounds about right. I actually don't have Hana on my friends list... any chance you'd help hook us up?

She doesn't have livejournal. Heck as of last night she still hadn't checked email since Pennsic. I think that was on the list of things for her to do today.
