I can't believe how Koyama could hit Shige that hard. He must be in so much pain and frustration to do what he did. He really would have left Shige because it was breaking him inside.

Kusano is such as sweetheart. I guess he can see how much Koyama loves Shige because he loves Shige too.

I'm glad Shige asked Pi to goand find Kusano. At least he still has affection for the boy's feelings.

It just that both Koyama and Kusano loved Shige, so in a sort of strange way Kusano knew how unhappy Shige would be if the person he loved leaves him cause Shige, the person Kusano loved, actually left him for Koyama so he didn't want Shige to feel the way he was feeling cause he loved Shige too much.
