Well, we wouldn't need people's personal spaces until it gets cold. A community space like the warehouse would be more reasonable. Thereby not putting anyone out by having to use their house. But yeah, the meetings were great! I hope to get it going again.
I might be interested. But somehow (and personally) the warehouse is not I place I associate with spirituality. Would it be possible to have some kind of rotation system, so it's not each time at the same house? Just a thought..
I agree that the warehouse isn't all that spiritual of a place, but well, maybe we could create a space within it? I don't know, but I'd like to see it not in people's homes, just so it's more...open to community and not dependent on someone. And having it at one place would make it more accessible for drop ins. Maybe the dojo? Do you think Glenn/Sensei would be down? The warehouse has already been approved, so it's now an actual option. All I'd have to do is get a key and choose a night. We'll figure it all out together.
I'm interested in going again. The mojo meetings were what catapulted me into the burner circles and launched me on a personal growth spurt of mega proportions. I'm very grateful for the meetings.
I'd like to see more ritual planning (perhaps on a quarterly basis) and doing the monthly or even quarterly speaker thing if we can get the people.
I'm not sure how I feel about the warehouse. I tend to agree with kaqimax in that it isn't a very spiritual place.
k45 and aethyrflux have a large space in their home they want to use for hosting various weekly events. It can accomodate 20-30 people comfortably.
I just got approved for the warehouse, even told I could have a key. But yeah, not the most spiritual place.
As far as having it at someone's home- I gotta say, I think the meetings should really move to a neutral zone, make it more community accessible. I mentioned maybe having it at the dojo where Sensei Strange teaches. It's not been approved or anything but it's a possible place maybe.
If you can think of a different non-home meeting space- but those 2 are the only ones I can think of so far. I really think the warehouse could work- we could always make it right for the meetings and just host things like rituals somewhere better. That would actually make the rituals HAVE to be somewhere really cool. We could choose from any of the city's parks or anyone's yard.
But again, I'm still figuring this out. I just think that someone's home is going to make it less accessible to the general community. I wonder if one of the churches or the OTO lodge or somewhere like that would be willing to allow a weekly thing like ours.
Public isn't really so good. I've got a couple of other avenues I'm looking into right now. I think we can figure this out. I'm pretty excited about this.

I live in a pretty big house, but I don't want to volunteer space without first just attending.

What about a local coffeehouse? That way, no one is stuck with cleaning up.

It would probably be on a Wednesday night again, or possibly Monday.
Not Tuesday or Thursdays.
I'm excited about this again.
