Star Trek The Motion Picture popped up in the Netflix for the Wii this week. I've not seen it since 1985 or something like that. I remembered it sucked compared to the Wrath of Khan

One of my biggest problems with the movie as a whole (aside from the uniforms - seriously, I hope the entire wardrobe department and everyone who had a hand in approving it, creating it, supplying materials, and even making the material is homeless now!) is that it was entirely too similar to the "Nomad" episode.
Earth probe goes out too far, gets damaged, repairs itself and merges with an alien probe, goes insane, fucks shit up.
