A lump in my throat

Last week i found a lump in my neck. I figured it was a swollen gland, and therefore nothing to worry about, but every since i have had this I have had a horrible headache. My mother encouraged me to go to the Dr. and so I did. he wanted me to get an MRI immediately, he said that it probably was a swollen gland, but that something was making it
