SO! I've been planning to do this picspam since last year but have been too lazy to get around to it. And sort of rightly so, as it took me FOREVER. But now, it is completed in all of it's glory so that everyone can acknowledge that Gossip Girl is truly American Hanadan.

...Ive never seen Gossip Girl. I've never wanted to see Gossip Girl.

But right now, all I want to do is locate this show, because Hanadan is one of my favorite things ever, and I cannot believe an American equivalent might be possible.

MY GOAL IS COMPLETE! Hee! This picspam's existence was basically just so I could get more people to share both of my fandoms. :P GG is probably the first American show I've seen with a level of crack that even comes near Hanadan.

IT IS PERFECTION! I can't stop looking at the pics!!!!!! And... and now I kinda want GG/HYD fanfic. Actually want I REALLY want is Rui/Nate fic... in which they meet Serena. I don't really know why, but I think it would make me happy.

I agree! I really want a fic where Domyouji and Chuck go out shopping together. I second your fic idea where Rui/Nate meet Serena. OMG imagine Serena/Rui fic? We need to start a GG/HYD crossover fandom right now!

Hee! Thanks! Glad you liked it! I started seeing the similarities after the "OMG IMAGINE MEETING YOU HERE IN THIS PLACE I STALKED YOU TOO!" scene and then just couldn't *stop* seeing the similarties.

Must say I prefer HYD over Gossip Girl but wheeeeeeeey love it still!
I agree, I love HYD more too. I think a lot of that might have to do with it's more consistent quality, considering that it's a shorter show and didn't have to drag it's storylines as much. Plus the movie was such <3!
